Kenya calls on the African Union to declare 2030 the Year of Peace

Kenya has called on the African Union to declare 2030 the Year of Peace, Security and Stability in Africa, as the continent renews efforts to end conflicts and strengthen African led mechanisms for peace. Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi made the proposal in Luanda Angola where African leaders are deliberating on ways to strengthen conflict prevention and resolution.
