Tembisa Hospital procurement fraud accused Stefan Govindraju granted R200,000 bail

Tembisa Hospital procurement fraud accused Stefan Govindraju has been granted bail of R200-thousand by the Palmridge specialised commercial crimes court.

Govindraju told the court he was not a flight risk and had voluntarily returned to South Africa despite knowing about the investigation.

He was arrested on Friday, in connection with alleged corruption and procurement fraud at the hospital.

The matter has been postponed to the 29th of September for plea and sentence proceedings.
