Tourist filming scenery accidentally captures Nepal landslide on camera

A Chinese tourist was filming the scenery at the Asia No. 1 viewing platform on August 26, oblivious to the massive landslide tearing through the Nepal side of the border just beyond his lens.

The footage shows rocks and debris cascading down the mountain, sending a thick cloud of dust into the sky.

It later confirmed the exact location and time of the glacier collapse that triggered the devastating mudslide.
