Newly inaugurated suspension bridge gives way in Indonesia

A newly inaugurated suspension bridge in West Java, Indonesia, gave way just minutes after opening on Sunday (Aug 30). Around 50 people were reportedly on the Pongpet Suspension Bridge when part of its suspension system came loose, causing it to tilt. Several people suffered minor injuries, while no deaths were reported. The bridge has since been closed for repairs and technical checks. #indonesia #indonesianews
