INS Nipun की नौसेना में एंट्री, गहरे समुद्र में भारत की ताकत हुई और मजबूत | Mid Day Prime

INS Nipun की नौसेना में एंट्री से भारत की deep-sea और underwater rescue capabilities को बड़ा boost मिला है। भारतीय नौसेना ने मुंबई के Naval Dockyard में Nistar-class के दूसरे Diving Support Vessel (DSV) INS Nipun को commissioned किया।

स्वदेशी रूप से Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), Visakhapatnam में निर्मित INS Nipun को deep-sea diving, underwater intervention और submarine rescue operations के लिए तैयार किया गया है। इसमें Deep Submergence Rescue Vessel (DSRV) के लिए mother ship के रूप में काम करने की क्षमता भी है।

लगभग 75% indigenous content वाला यह पोत भारत की आत्मनिर्भर रक्षा निर्माण क्षमता को भी दर्शाता है। INS Nipun की तैनाती से Western Naval Command की underwater operational capability मजबूत होगी और भारत की maritime preparedness को नई ताकत मिलेगी।
