Minority MCAs in Embu oppose committees reconstitution

Members of the Embu County Assembly allied to the minority party staged a walkout from the chambers midway through the sitting after tabling of a report reconstituting the County Assembly Committees, which they termed unprocedural. In Laikipia, the County Assembly has passed a motion authorizing the Deputy Clerk to be the accounting officer and run the administrative duties of the house pending appointment of a clerk.
