भारत के लिए गौरव का पल! उत्तर प्रदेश के सारनाथ को UNESCO ने World Heritage Site के रूप में शामिल कर लिया है। 25 जुलाई 2026 को 48वें World Heritage Committee Session में यह ऐतिहासिक फैसला लिया गया, जिसके साथ भारत में UNESCO World Heritage Sites की संख्या बढ़कर 45 हो गई है।

सारनाथ वह पवित्र स्थल है जहां भगवान बुद्ध ने अपना पहला उपदेश दिया था। 2,500 वर्षों से अधिक समय से यह बौद्ध धर्म के प्रमुख तीर्थस्थलों में शामिल रहा है और दुनिया भर के श्रद्धालुओं के लिए आस्था, शांति और ज्ञान का केंद्र है।
