SACP's preparations for upcoming LGE on track

The South African Communist Party says its preparations for the November local government elections are advancing well.

It says it has submitted its candidate lists ahead of the 28 August deadline.

The party briefed the media in Johannesburg on the outcomes of its three-day Central Committee gathering, which considered, among other issues, preparations for elections.
