Western Cape taxi violence | Mediation process to kick off Monday

The Western Cape Mobility Department says public transport stakeholders have agreed to a formal mediation process to address the violent conflict affecting the Khayelitsha–Somerset West transport route.

The department says it met with the City of Cape Town, the provincial SANTACO leadership and other role players earlier this week to discuss the current challenges. A mediation process will kick off on Monday.
