Nothing stops them: China rescuers push through 1.5-meter-deep mud after Nepal mudslide

China's rescuers are pushing forward with search and rescue operations in the core disaster area near Gyirong Port in Xizang Autonomous Region. Deep mud, reaching up to 1.5 meters in places, has made access extremely difficult. On August 29, Lhasa Fire and Rescue's land search team continued operations despite the thick mud, difficult terrain and other challenging conditions following the Nepal mudslide.
