The Speaker of Parliament in Botswana, Dithapelo Keorapetse, spoke to SABC News in Gaborone, Botswana.

He also touched on thorny issues such as the death penalty and mixed marriages.

Botswana is the only country in the SADC group that has not outlawed the death penalty.
