South Africa's rich artistic heritage is being celebrated through Legendary Women in the Arts, a landmark exhibition honouring women whose creativity, leadership and activism have helped shape the country's cultural and democratic story.
The exhibition forms part of the national commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the 1956 Women's March.
It highlights the work and enduring legacies of celebrated artists and storytellers, including Dr Esther Mahlangu, Dr Noria Mabasa, Helen Sebidi, Esther Mguni, Rebecca Matibe and Dr Gcina Mhlophe.
