Breakthrough in restoring road access in China-Nepal border mudslide zone

On the fourth day of rescue efforts, crews made a major breakthrough in restoring road access to the worst-hit area on the Chinese side of the border. China Anneng, a state-owned engineering and rescue enterprise, cleared the first major bend along the damaged G216 national highway, moving closer to reopening the route to Gyirong Port, which was hit hard by the mudslide from the Nepalese side. #FrontlineStory
