Celebrating those fighting against substance abuse

The Thembisa Drugs Rehabilitation Movement is marking its fourth annual community celebration by recognising those helping people affected by substance abuse.

Held during Women's Month, the event is also honouring women for their role in strengthening families, supporting recovery and building stronger communities.

The organisation says recovery goes beyond rehabilitation, with health support and employment playing a key role in helping recovering addicts rebuild their lives.
