Niger junta faces mutiny as gunfire rocks Niamey | DW News

Niger's Ministry of National Defense said a group of soldiers opened fire on "sensitive" locations in the capital in an apparent mutiny. Authorities say the uprising was largely contained, but the attack posed the latest threat to Niger's military junta.
