GEMS targets healthcare information gap

Government Employees Medical Scheme says it is looking at closing the information gap between what its members experience in the healthcare system and how that system is designed and delivered.

As the scheme wraps up its two-day symposium in Cape Town, affordability, out-of-pocket costs, fraud, waste and abuse have been among the issues under discussion.
