India-Uzbekistan Ties Set for a Big Boost

India-Uzbekistan ties are poised for a significant boost as PM @narendramodi
undertakes his fourth visit to Uzbekistan. The two sides are focusing on doubling bilateral trade over the next three years, with Indian investments in Uzbekistan already crossing $1 billion.

The visit is expected to advance cooperation in trade and investment, critical minerals, healthcare, education, space, technology, culture and people-to-people exchanges. PM Modi is also expected to visit the Shastri Memorial and the Mahatma Gandhi Centre at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

The Indian diaspora in Uzbekistan is also looking forward to the visit, with expectations of greater economic, investment and business opportunities and stronger India-Uzbekistan ties.
