EMPD Arrest | IPID, tactical response team in pursuit of second suspect: Chriselda Lewis

An Ekurhuleni Metro Police official and a security boss have been arrested in connection with the alleged theft of precious metals and stones worth R14 million. The arrests follow explosive testimony before the Madlanga Commission, where Witness K alleged she and suspended EMPD Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi plotted the theft in an apartment in Killarney, Johanneburg in 2023.
