Ruto: Police constables’ basic pay rises 36%, 47,000 housing units under construction

President Ruto: Entry-level basic pay for police constables has risen from KSh21,000 to KSh29,000, a 36% increase. Salaries across other ranks have also been adjusted upwards. We are also addressing the long-standing deficit in police accommodation. 47,000 housing units are under construction.
