Trial date set for alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed

A US military judge has set a trial date for alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

He has been in US detention for the terrorist attacks since 2003, spending most of that time at Guantanamo Bay.

Mohammed, along with three other alleged co-conspirators, will face a military tribunal in June 2028.
