Women's Month | Showcasing work of celebrated women artists

As Women's Month winds down to an end next week, we continue to celebrate women's diverse talents and contribution to South African society.

As part of acknowledging women of South Africa, the National Arts Council says legendary women who have contributed to South Africa's creative and cultural landscape must continue to be recognised and celebrated.

This sentiment was shared at the launch of the Legendary Women in the Arts exhibition at the Ditsong National Museum of Cultural History in Pretoria.

The exhibition forms part of the 1956 Women's March 70th anniversary, and showcases the work and legacies of celebrated women artists, sculptors and storytellers.
