Kenya continues to grapple with preventable maternal, newborn and child deaths, with new data pointing to delays in seeking and receiving quality care as major contributors. Health advocates who attended meeting in Nairobi convened by the Kenya Editors Guild in collaboration with a non govermenatl organization Wanahabari are now calling for stronger interventions, urging the media to keep maternal health top of their news agenda.
