ANC faces legal threat over candidate lists

The ANC still plans to submit its local elections candidates lists to the IEC today.

Party Spokesperson, Mahlengi Bhengu, says a special NEC meeting is now sorting out the issues of gender on all provincial lists.

Regarding the troubled the Eastern Cape, the NEC says the province's PEC representatives are present to help clean up the list.

Unhappy party members have sent a legal letter to the ANC, threatening to interdict the lists.
