National Coloured Congress Leader, and MP, Fadiel Adams has told the Madlanga Commission that he has opened criminal cases against senior Investigating Directorate Against Corruption investigators for improper behaviour.
Adams says he took issue with IDAC investigators, Dylan Perumal and Brian Padayachee, for publicly discussing the merits of a case he opened with the agency in January last year.
The matter relates to a Section 27 investigation referral targeting Crime Intelligence Head, Lieutenant General Dumisani Khumalo, and six other officers over allegations of corruption, fraud, docket interception and the misuse of Secret Service funds.
To unpack this, we are now joined by a Security expert from the Department of Police Practice, UNISA, Prof Mpho Matlala.
