Ekapa Minerals is up for sale as mine looks to save 1,000 jobs

Mining company, Ekapa Minerals in Kimberley, where five mineworkers died in a mudslide in February, is officially up for sale.

Local and international investors are invited to submit offers in an effort to continue to save the mine and protect jobs.

The mine applied for provisional liquidation in late February, ceasing all operations and leaving over 1 thousand workers out of work.
