Chinese scholar calls on EU to redefine its China policy

"The EU needs to examine its own policy flaws," says Chinese scholar Zhao Hai, director of International Political Studies at the National Institute for Global Strategy. In analyzing the rising frustration in China-EU relations, he notes that some EU member states desire stronger ties with China, but Brussels continues to push Beijing away, which then influences its China policy.
