Women's Dialogue | Dialogue commemorating 70 years on from historic 1956 Women's March

Minister in the Presidency responsible for Women, Youth and Persons with Disability, Sindisiwe Chikunga is this evening leading a National Press Club Distinction Dialogue commemorating 70 years of the historic 1956 Women's March.

The dialogue will be a platform to reflect on the enduring legacy of the women who marched to the Union Buildings in 1956 in defiance of the discriminatory pass laws while examining the progress as well as challenges women face in a democratic South Africa.
