Journalists from Abzas Media, Meydan TV, and Toplum TV have faced arrests and lengthy prison sentences. Political opponents, activists, and researchers have also been prosecuted as the space for organized dissent continues to shrink. The campaign is also increasingly reaching beyond Azerbaijan’s borders, with critics living abroad being convicted in absentia.
