Madlanga Commission | "Cat" Matlala back on the stand: Ayanda Nyathi updates

The controversial multi-million-rand SAPS Medicare24 Tshwane District tender has featured prominently in the testimony of alleged crime kingpin Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala.

On Tuesday, the Madlanga Commission heard that businessman Steve Motsumi advanced a R5 million loan to Medicare24 Tshwane District, which was paid in two separate transactions.

The Commission also heard that Matlala attempted to secure a further R20 million from Motsumi to support the company's operations.
