Syrian Democratic Forces announce their dissolution

The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces will dissolve as an independent military force under an agreement with Damascus, SDF chief Mazloum Abdi announced.

The SDF was once the main partner of the US in Syria as it battled ISIL
