Ramaphosa flags infrastructure spending shortfall

President Cyril Ramaphosa says the country's infrastructure investment spending is far below expectations.

He says in 2025, South Africa spent less than half of the 30% expenditure to GDP required by the National Development Plan of 2030.

The President delivered a keynote address on the closing day of the three-day Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium South Africa in Cape Town.
