#Tornado tears through southern #France

A powerful tornado swept through the Aude region of southern France, injuring at least 40 people and leaving nearly 3,000 homes without power.

The storm struck near Carcassonne on Monday evening, with winds reportedly exceeding 100 km/h. Footage captured by residents shows the tornado moving through the region as it caused widespread damage to homes, infrastructure and the surrounding environment.
