EACC arrests a court clerk in Busia for demanding Sh180,000 bribe

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested a court clerk at a Busia court for allegedly demanding a bribe of Kshs 180,000 to influence the outcome of a pending case.  The clerk, Wesley Langat, is alleged to have acted on behalf of a magistrate at the station to secure a leniency verdict for an accused person.
