HM Amit Shah: New Criminal Laws Aim for Conviction Within 3 Years

#WATCH | The new criminal laws aim to ensure that every crime registered in the country results in conviction up to the Supreme Court within 3 years. We have closed 90% of the loopholes in the system. To eliminate delays, we are actively working with the Supreme Court, setting up Gram Nyayalayas, and introducing new mechanisms for pending cases. Merely increasing judges and prosecutors is not enough. We must prepare scientific charge sheets, strongly support prosecution, and ensure timely justice. I believe the Crime Records Bureau has a major responsibility in this direction. This conference gives me great hope that we will realise the original vision with which the Bureau was established: HM
