Relief for motorists as General Fuel levy reduction stays in May

Motorists will benefit from the extended relief of the General Fuel levy in May.

Drivers of petrol vehicles will continue to receive relief of R3 per litre, while drivers of diesel vehicles will benefit from a discount of R3.93 cents a litre.

In March, government announced a temporary reduction in the fuel levy from April 1st to May 5th.
