SIU 's Selby Makgotho on recovered Lotto funds

The Special Investigating Unit has recovered stolen lottery funds amounting to R 3,2 million.

The unit says it has secured full repayment from the National Lotteries Commission-related beneficiaries.

In 2018, Todi Media received R1,5 million for a media project, while Zibsiflo NPC got R1,71 million for Women's soccer clinics in the Free State.

The two entities misused the funds and have repaid them in full.
