Madlanga Commission | Police Minister Senzo Mchunu denies Lt-Colonel Deena Govender's allegations

Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, who is on special leave, has denied allegations levelled against him by Lt-Colonel Deena Govender, who testified at the Madlanga Commission that Mchunu asked him to "throw Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi under the bus" over a KZN shooting.

Earlier, Justice Madlanga clarified the implications of Section 204, after Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala invoked this provision when declining to say more on his engagements with Lt-General Sibiya and Jerry Boshoga's alleged kidnapping.
