SA faces R1-trillion infrastructure funding gap

South Africa has an infrastructure gap of more than R1-trillion, which it needs for major building projects in the country.

This was revealed by Infrastructure South Africa, at this year's Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium of South Africa.

Government is hoping that this symposium will help close that gap, as it meets with investors and industry experts during this three-day event in Cape Town this week.

Since its inception in 2020, this symposium has played a pivotal role in mobilising funding, strengthening national infrastructure, and addressing systemic delivery challenges.
