Mali remains on edge after weekend of attacks

The situation in Mali appears to be stabilising, for now.

This follows a weekend of attacks at various locations.

Defence Minister, Sadio Camara, was among those killed, reportedly at his residence in Kati, near the capital, Bamako.

Regional bloc, ECOWAS, has strongly condemned the violence, saying the conflict threatens peace, security and stability in West Africa.
