*Following the apprehension of two persons of interest by SAPS in connection with the murder of two-time boxing world champion Zolani Tete in Ku Gompo in the Eastern Cape, a male suspect has been formally charged with murder and attempted murder. The second individual has been released from custody. Another 22-year-old male has been arrested and is expected to appear in court Tuesday. His role in the matter is currently under investigation.

*Family, friends, and admirers came together at the Shria Mariammen Temple in Durban today, to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the murder of whistleblower, Babita Deokaran. Deokaran was gunned down outside her Gauteng home following the exposure of corruption related to tenders at Tembisa Hospital.
