The family of assassinated Gauteng Health Department Chief Director of Financial Accounting, Babita Deokaran, says they want the mastermind behind her killing to be brought to book.

Deokaran exposed a multi-million-rand tender fraud syndicate at Tembisa Hospital, and was brutally killed outside her Johannesburg home in 2021.

Her family says she was among those who sacrificed their lives by speaking out against corruption in government.
