ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa says the party's manifesto is focused on six key actions aimed at rebuilding public trust and improving service delivery.
The key outline includes improving basic services, boosting local economic growth, job creation, safer communities and a stronger fight against GBV.
The ANC also plans to review the municipal funding model, intensify efforts to combat corruption and place communities at the centre of decision-making.
Ramaphosa says residents will have greater oversight of municipal performance, through with improved system to report and track service delivery.
He was speaking at the ANC's 2026 local government elections manifesto launch at Riverside Park near Diepsloot in Johannesburg.
