The European Commission has unveiled the 21st sanctions package against Russia, targeting Moscow’s energy sector, banking systems, and cryptocurrency networks. However, the latest round will not introduce severe entry limitations for Russian tourists as requested by multiple member states, including Poland.

- EUROPE TAKES ON ROLE OF NEGOTIATOR
Europe is ready to take over the driver’s seat in peace negotiations with Russia. This is the message out of Berlin after the last meeting of German, French, and British leaders with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It comes amid the ongoing exchange of long-range strikes between Moscow and Kyiv, as well as Ukraine recapturing more territory than it is losing to Putin’s troops.

- UNREST IN ALBANIA CONTINUES
Crowds of Albanians are taking to the streets to protest the planned construction of a massive luxury resort allegedly endangering protected wildlife on the country’s Mediterranean coast. The project is linked to Jared Kushner, U.S. President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, and is defended by Albania’s prime minister as a major investment opportunity.
