13-year-old boy’s family seeking justice

More than a year after a 13-year-old deaf boy was allegedly sexually assaulted at a North West special needs school, his family is demanding answers.

The family say they only recently learned of the horrific incident and the subsequent police case.

They say the school kept them completely in the dark while swiftly notifying the alleged attacker's parents.

Now, they are also questioning whether children with special needs are truly protected in the school system.
