Uyinene Mrwetyana's walk of remembrance

Nearly seven years after the rape and murder of University of Cape Town student Uyinene Mrwetyana, a walk of rememberance took place along the route she once walked in pursuit of education.

The Uyinene Mrwetyana Foundation in partnership with UCT retraced her footsteps from Roscommon House in where she lived as a student in Claremont, Cape Town to UCT's Upper Campus where she was a 1st Year student.
