The ANC resolved to no longer announce their mayoral candidates for all municipalities.

Tensions and divisions are pulpable within the party's structures over who will be chosen as a mayoral candidates in all metros and secondary cities.

Party officials took the decision on Thursday fearing that will impact the party's campaign negatively.
