Shocking video shows danger of crossing railway tracks

A shortcut across the tracks can turn deadly in seconds.

Police in the Czech Republic’s South Moravian region say 19 people have been hit by trains this year, while carelessness or rule-breaking was a factor in 10 of those cases.

Authorities released footage from a recent collision to urge pedestrians to cross railways only at designated locations.
