Government says that although there is still work to be done in developing immigration policies and interventions in securing South Africa's borders, initiatives and approaches are being made to deal with the serious problem of undocumented foreign nationals.
This after it received criticism on what has been seen as its non-responsive tone to the recent national protests calling for undocumented foreign nationals to leave the country. To engage on this matter, the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster Ministers, Political Parties, various groups and associations met yesterday at the Union Buildings.
