Singapore HeritageFest 2026 offers over 100 programmes celebrating country's maritime roots

The Singapore HeritageFest 2026 has officially kicked off, with programmes islandwide celebrating the country's maritime roots. For the next three-and-a-half weeks, through more than a hundred programmes, the public can experience the stories, trades and communities that shaped Singapore's waterways. Programmes will be held at multiple locations, including the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) and areas such as Bugis, Clarke Quay, Marina Bay, Jurong and other sites within the Fullerton heritage precinct. Muhammad Bahajjaj was at the launch of the festival, which will run until May 24.
