Russian drone attack on Ukraine mall kills 15, Zelenskyy vows response

A Russian drone strike began at 4:30 in the afternoon, when the mall is typically crowded, and a second wave of drones followed just 30 minutes later, with rescue workers from nearby regions called in to help. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the attack on his hometown of Kryvyi Rih both cynical and treacherous, describing it as "absolute Russian brutality" and saying "we will definitely respond." He said it is important that Ukraine has everything necessary to protect lives, and that the world must not remain silent and must help bring an end to Russia's war.
